Job summary

McGough Construction seeks an Electrical Superintendent for industrial projects. The on-site leader will manage electrical crews, coordinate subcontractors, and drive schedule adherence while upholding safety and code compliance.

The role requires 5–10+ years in electrical trades with supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a Journeyman/Master Electrician license as required by location. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in the electrical trade with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including distribution, instrumentation and controls.
• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, and electrical safety standards.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license (as required by project location).
• Preferred: bilingual with the ability to communicate in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the execution of all on-site electrical work.
• Provide comprehensive oversight of field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers on active projects.
• Supervise Assistant Superintendents and review weekly work plans, schedules, and site logistics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges, including delays, scope issues, and labor conflicts.
• Maintain day-to-day oversight of installation quality, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and applicable codes.
