Job summary

WorkNovaX in Arizona is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Lead to plan, schedule, and supervise industrial and electrical projects up to $10M. You will assist the Project Manager in coordinating crews and resources, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with specifications.

Leaders with a track record in civil, mechanical, or structural scopes will drive safety, quality, and efficiency across site activities and vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction and electrical industries.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• OSHA or equivalent safety training completed.
• Experience with HCSS HeavyJob or similar costing software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field activities for industrial construction from setup to closeout.
• Recruit and lead craft teams across civil, mechanical, and structural scopes.
• Supervise daily work of crews and contractors.
• Verify conformance of completed work against specs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Position Overview

Responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of industrial and electrical construction projects up to $10M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures and specifications.

Job Duties

• Oversee field specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout related to the industries that Industrial Construction serves: energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.
• Responsible for recruiting, managing and leading teams of craft employees for all scopes of work: civil, mechanical, and structural activities.
• Supervises daily work of employees.
• Verifies conformance of finished work product.
• Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.

Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction and electrical industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Completion of OSHA or equivalent safety training.
• Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
• Drivers license with a clean driving record.
