Job summary

Kenny Electric, a Denver, CO-based contractor, is seeking a Service Technician II to support the Service Department with electrical service needs. You will install changes, troubleshoot issues, and work to meet project timelines.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of service experience and a valid Journeyman Electrician license, plus strong communication skills. The role includes being on call, a 40-hour week with overtime, and maintaining daily logs and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, industrial and manufacturing environments.
• Wiring systems and all phases of project installation.
• Purchasing of electrical material and parts.
• Meeting and exceeding customer expectations and needs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and problem solve to determine the most efficient way to install changes to existing service.
• Work alone and be capable of performing electrical work.
• Estimate time and materials to complete service tasks.
• Communicate with Service Manager regarding scheduling and customer needs.
• Interact with building owners/tenants to perform jobs.
• Ensure NEC standards compliance in all tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors, engineers and other contractors to meet deadlines.
• Contact customers to set appointments.
• Maintain logs and project tasking and develop client base.
• Work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.
• Be on call 24/7 for two weeks every three months.
