Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, seeks an experienced Project Manager with a background in electrical construction for water and wastewater, industrial, and process facilities. You will lead projects from award to closeout, managing budgets, schedules, procurement, field operations, and client relations while upholding safety, quality, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical systems including switchgear, generators, power distribution.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and contract administration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
• Valid driver's license required with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for extended project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from award to completion managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Develop schedules, budgets, forecasts, and execution plans.
• Coordinate resources for safe, efficient project delivery.
• Lead kickoff meetings and establish objectives and milestones.
• Manage costs, commitments, and subcontractor expenditures.
• Identify risks, change orders, and cost impacts.
• Support monthly financial reviews and profitability.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, GCs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress and adjust procurement and resources as needed.
• Promote safety and quality across project activities.
• Ensure proper project documentation and closeout activities.
