Summit Construction Advisors seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex electrical construction projects in the industrial water and wastewater sector. You will guide projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets are met.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of Project Management experience in electrical construction.
  • Experience managing large commercial, industrial, water/wastewater, data center, or multi-family projects.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specs, and contract docs.
  • Design-build experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, and staffing strategies.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate field ops, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to keep on schedule.
  • Serve as main contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Review contracts and drawings for compliance.

This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are met.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the successful execution of electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, and staffing strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate field operations, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and aligned with project goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Review contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure project compliance.
  • Manage change orders, billing, forecasting, and project documentation.
  • Identify project risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain a strong focus on jobsite safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Support design-build collaboration with engineering teams when applicable.
  • Foster strong relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term client partnerships.
What We're Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of Project Management experience within electrical construction.
  • Experience managing large commercial, industrial, water/wastewater, data center, or multi-family electrical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience coordinating closely with field leadership and superintendents.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and industry best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus.
  • Design-Build project experience is highly desirable.
  • $130,000-$180,000+ depending on experience
