Job summary

ARCO Companies in Downers Grove, IL is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate mid-sized industrial electrical projects from planning through closeout. You will translate designs into actionable field plans, manage schedules, and drive safety and accuracy across teams.

The role requires 3–7 years in project management within electrical subcontracting, strong communication, and proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

3–7 years in Project Management or Assistant PM in electrical subcontracting.
Knowledge of medium-to-heavy industrial electrical work and construction blueprints.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
Procore and Bluebeam proficiency required.
Strong organizational skills, clear communication, hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of mid-sized industrial electrical projects on schedule.
Coordinate field plans, drawings, and labor with Field Operations Manager and site superintendents.
Track long-lead electrical equipment, coordinate nationwide material delivery, review supplier quality.
Monitor project budgets, process billings, draft purchase orders, manage subcontracts.
Lead regular project alignment meetings with GC, owners, and engineering teams.
Maintain project records in construction management software, manage RFIs, submittals, and drawings.
