Job summary

PureGrid Electrical is seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager to support industrial electrical projects nationwide. The role emphasizes organization, communication, and precise execution, coordinating field teams, drawings, submittals, and materials across project phases.

You will assist with subcontractor billing, change orders, and pay applications while maintaining safety and schedule discipline, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic electrical contracting environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, estimating, or assistant project management in commercial or industrial electrical subcontracting.
• Foundational understanding of electrical systems, power distribution equipment, and reading construction blueprints.
• Hands-on experience with Procore and Bluebeam Revu is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering is preferred, or equivalent experience in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day operations to ensure tasks are safe, accurate, and on schedule.
• Act as secondary contact for site superintendents and field crews; provide drawings, submittals, and material updates.
• Log, track, and expedite long-lead electrical equipment; coordinate deliveries and purchase orders.
• Help draft purchase orders, process subcontractor billings, and assist with monthly pay applications.
• Manage daily administrative workflows in construction management software; track RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and drawings from preconstruction to closeout.
• Participate in project alignment meetings with general contractors, engineers, and clients; document action items and progress milestones.
