Job summary

Pratt Industries in New York, NY is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, design and install electrical equipment across our production lines. The role supports process improvements and provides essential operations support.

The successful candidate will focus on predictive and preventive maintenance, reduce reactive issues, read and interpret blueprints, and work with PLCs, VFDs, motors and controls to keep equipment running at peak performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Apprenticeship or Associates degree preferred.
• Two-year Electrical Degree with 2 years industrial experience, or 5 years without degree.
• Electrical and mechanical experience required.
• Candidate preferred with prior corrugated industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade and install electrical equipment.
• Support process improvements and operations.
• Respond to call-outs to keep equipment running.
• Diagnose electrical problems and repair or replace components.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams; interpret instructions.
