Job summary

Pratt Industries in Lewisburg, OH is seeking an experienced Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems on our corrugated paper manufacturing equipment and conveyors. You will troubleshoot production line faults, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with NEC/OSHA safety standards on a fast-paced plant.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial electrical work, an electrical apprenticeship or technical training, and a journeyman license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; completion of an electrical apprenticeship or formal training.
• 3–5 years of industrial electrician experience preferred.
• Valid electrician license; journeyman certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for corrugated paper machinery and conveyors.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues on production lines and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and codes.
• Calibrate and test sensors, instruments used in production processes.
• Repair or replace faulty components and suggest upgrades for performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for system integration.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and upgrades performed.
• Provide emergency electrical support to restore operations quickly.
• Train junior technicians on safe work practices and troubleshooting.
