Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Steel is seeking Hourly Maintenance Technicians - Electrical/Electronic in Coatesville. You will perform electrical maintenance across plant equipment, make repairs, and operate machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ eligibility to work in the U.S., and Ramsey Assessments. Compensation starts at $36.12/hr with Sunday pay, shift differentials, and holiday pay; health, retirement, and education benefits are offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Pre-employment Ramsey Assessment Test (Electrical/Electronics) required.
Proficiency with 440 VAC motor installation, wiring, configuration and DC motor troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Performs all electrical functions to maintain equipment using standard tools and equipment.
Performs electrical repairs as required in connection with maintenance service.
Operates equipment in conjunction with repairs to keep systems running.
May work alone or with others, coordinating with Operating/Service Technicians on electrical tasks.
