Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Specialist in Meriden, CT. This on-site role runs 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with overtime possible and a contract-to-hire path after 12 months.

You will troubleshoot electrical systems and support HVAC upgrades while maintaining rigorous safety and recordkeeping standards. You must have an electrician apprenticeship or equivalent, a CT journeyperson license, and 3–5 years of regulated industrial electrical maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or equivalent technical training.
• Valid Connecticut E-1 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson License required.
• 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience in regulated industrial settings.
• Proficiency with NEC and NFPA 70E, electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems up to 480V across multiple facilities.
• Support production equipment, utility systems, HVAC, cleanroom, and facility systems to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and participate in CAPA.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams; verify wiring against drawings and test for code compliance.
• Log maintenance activities in CMMS and assist in capital improvement projects.
