Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Odessa, Texas, is seeking electricians to support the maintenance team at the Odessa-Ector Power Plant. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, repair, test, and perform preventive maintenance on plant electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required; trade/tech training preferred.
• Texas journeyman electrical license preferred.
• Experience with heavy industrial electrical systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on breakers, switch gear, MCCs, transformers, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot faults, read diagrams and protection schemes, and diagnose issues.
• Test/ Calibrate relays, meters, and monitoring equipment.
• Document activities in CMMS; support plant outages and LOTO programs.
• Adhere to safety and environmental procedures; on-call rotation.
