Job summary

Vistra Energy, Odessa, TX, is hiring electricians to support the maintenance team at the Odessa-Ector Power Plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, test, and perform preventive maintenance on plant electrical systems. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED plus trade training; Texas journeyman license preferred. You will work a rotating call-out schedule and follow safety procedures. Experience with CMMS (Maximo) and SAP is a plus; heavy industrial electrical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or tech training preferred.
• Texas journeyman electrical license preferred.
• Prior heavy industrial electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults using diagrams, P&IDs and vendor manuals.
• Test and calibrate protective relays, meters, and monitoring equipment.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS (Maximo preferred).
• Support outage activities and safety programs.
