ARCO Companies seeks an experienced Superintendent / General Foreman to lead field operations on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects nationwide. You will manage crews, enforce safety, and coordinate with general contractors, owners, and trade partners to maintain schedule and quality.

The role requires journeyman/master electrician status, OSHA 30, and strong skills in Procore and Excel. Extensive travel and field leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Field Superintendent, General Foreman, or Senior Foreman overseeing field operations on commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required. Deep technical expertise in medium-to-heavy industrial electrical installations, major equipment power distribution, and blueprint reading.
• OSHA 30 certification required. First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using job site technology; experience reviewing plans, tracking daily logs, and referencing submittals using tools like Procore and Excel.
• Outstanding team leadership skills, strong conflict resolution ability, and a clear, direct communication style with both site crews and project managers.
• Ability to travel extensively and relocate/be stationed on nationwide job sites as project phases require.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day field operations on job sites, managing foremen, journeymen, and apprentices to ensure work is installed safely, accurately, and strictly on schedule.
• Enforce safety standards, lead daily safety huddles, conduct hazard assessments, and ensure OSHA and local code compliance.
• Serve as on-site liaison with general contractors, owners, and other trade superintendents; manage daily site logistics.
• Develop 2-week and 3-week look-ahead schedules, ensuring proper labor allocation, equipment setup, and material staging.
• Verify on-site material deliveries, inspect major equipment (switchgear, transformers), and track tool inventory.
• Ensure work aligns with engineering drawings and project specifications; identify field issues, communicate drawing discrepancies, and request RFIs through the PM team.
