Job summary

AWC, Inc. in Louisiana seeks an Industrial Electrical Technician I - Field Services to perform field service, inspections, troubleshooting, startup assistance, and repair of industrial electrical equipment, and to support shop assembly and testing.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions across the region, with occasional travel to customer facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within Louisiana and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities including inspections, troubleshooting, startup assistance, and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with customers to evaluate issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Assemble and test electrical control panels and equipment from schematics and drawings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service work and inspections.
• Support shop operations and material flow, ensuring safety and quality.
