Principal Mineral Holdings seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design and field execution for plant modernization projects in Camden, SC. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective electrical systems from concept through startup, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires hands-on PLC/SCADA experience, MV/LV distribution, and a focus on reliability and safety in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of practical electrical engineering experience in heavy industrial, chemical processing, or manufacturing environments.
• Working familiarity with 480/277 VAC and 208/120 VAC power distribution.
• Hands-on experience with industrial automation and PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley and Siemens), plus SCADA/DCS systems.
• Familiarity with ETAP, AutoCAD, and/or EPLAN for design and analysis.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for cross-functional work.

Responsabilidades

• Design and review electrical deliverables, including one-line and three-line diagrams and MV/LV power distribution equipment.
• Perform short-circuit calculations, load projections, cable sizing, and protection studies.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and sensor networks.
• Specify and evaluate industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
• Support capital projects with scope, cost estimates, schedules, and vendor performance.
• Ensure NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, IEEE, and UL standards compliance.
• Collaborate with mechanical/process engineers, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to meet capital expenditure targets.
• Lead commissioning, safety reviews, and orderly handover to operations.
• Lead preventive maintenance planning for electrical machinery to minimize downtime.
