Job summary

ADF Engineering is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Dayton, OH. This role offers opportunities to work across diverse industrial projects, delivering safe and efficient electrical designs for challenging environments.

You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering high-impact results for clients including Fortune 500 companies. This position is on-site in Dayton.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Responsibilities

Lead low-voltage power distribution design (600V and below).
Develop one-line diagrams, lighting layouts, MCCs, switchgear, and distribution panels.
Apply NFPA 70E, NEC, and local/state codes to safety and design standards.
Perform short-circuit, arc-flash, coordination, and load studies with SKM or EasyPower.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients through design, construction, and commissioning; travel <20%.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and best practices.
Support project planning, estimating, scheduling.
