Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 3-7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proficient in microprocessor/microcontroller hardware design and programming (C/C++).
• PCB design with Protel, KiCad, etc.
• Proficient in Excel/ Word for technical documents.
• Familiar with NEC, IEEE, ASME codes and standards.
• Experience with power distribution and control systems (PLCs, VFDs a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for equipment.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system failures.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including operations, maintenance, and engineering.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations (NEC, OSHA, ASME, etc.).
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and cost performance.
• Assist with vendor selection, equipment specifications, and procurement support.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and reliability initiatives.
• Provide technical support for production and field issues as needed.
