Job summary

Bay Cast Technologies LLC seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facility systems running safely and reliably. The role combines strong electrical and controls skills with hands-on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting PLCs, drive systems, and automated equipment on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Proficiency reading and interpreting electrical schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with motor controls, VFDs, sensors, and industrial instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and controls issues on production equipment, including PLCs and drives.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot equipment.
• Install, wire, and calibrate new equipment, controls, and instrumentation.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI systems to support production changes.
