Job summary

Ox Paper Tube Core Eaton, Indiana, United States is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to develop and oversee all EHS programs for the mill. You will coordinate with operations leaders, manage investigations, and drive safety culture across the site.

The role requires leading a diverse team, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle shifting priorities in a small company environment. This position reports to the General Manager and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in environmental or safety field preferred.
• Proven experience leading a team in an industrial environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations leaders to bring EHS expertise to discussions.
• Identify safety or environmental improvements and drive culture changes.
• Lead root cause investigations for safety incidents and near misses.
• Maintain on-site safety and environmental documentation and records.
• Co-Chair the Joint Safety & Health Committee and coordinate audits.
• Manage new hire safety onboarding and ensure regulatory training compliance.
• Develop and monitor annual safety training calendar for regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Track safety metrics and ensure corrective actions are completed.
