Industrial EHS Coordinator – Safety Leader (On-Site)

Job summary

ALCOM seeks a Safety Coordinator to support day-to-day safety activities at the DeLand, FL plant, including safety training, meetings, audits, injury management, and shop-floor compliance with OSHA standards.

You will help implement safety programs across Millennium Finish and Sukee Weld lines, coordinate incident reporting and investigations, and maintain OSHA 300 logs while supporting return-to-work processes.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in Business, Engineering or HSE preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with workers' compensation claims management.
• Strong PC and technology skills with training/presentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Support daily safety programs and audits across lines.
• Coordinate safety training and onboarding for new hires.
• Assist with incident investigations and 5 Whys analysis.
• Submit workers' compensation first reports of injury submissions.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log and support return-to-work activities.
