Powerserve Technologies in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support industrial electrical construction and instrumentation work on projects in the Naples area.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical background with experience installing, wiring, and troubleshooting instrumentation systems used in water/wastewater facilities. Safety-focused, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Electrical, E&I, Instrumentation, or Industrial Electrical Technician.
• Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, utilities, power generation, or water/wastewater facilities.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
• Install conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, and associated electrical equipment.
• Install and wire motors, VFDs, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
• Install field instrumentation, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature devices.
• Perform instrument terminations, loop checks, and functional testing.
• Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, and construction documents.
• Verify proper installation and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and testing.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Work collaboratively with electricians, controls technicians, engineers, and project management.
