Job summary

Powerserve Technologies in Naples, FL is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support industrial electrical construction and instrumentation work in the Naples area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and experience wiring, wiring termination, and troubleshooting instrumentation systems used in industrial facilities. Safety-focused and able to work independently or in a team will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical, E&I, or Industrial Electrical Technician.
• Experience in industrial construction, manufacturing, utilities, power generation, or water/wastewater facilities.
• Ability to install and terminate electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Experience reading electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with motors, MCCs, VFDs, control panels, and field instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot power, control, and instrumentation wiring.
• Install conduit, cable tray, junction boxes, and associated electrical equipment.
• Install and wire motors, VFDs, control panels, and other electrical equipment.
• Install field instrumentation, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature devices.
• Perform instrument terminations, loop checks, and functional testing.
• Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, and construction documents.
• Verify proper installation and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Assist with equipment startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and testing.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Work collaboratively with electricians, controls technicians, engineers, and project management.
