Job summary
Clariant SE is seeking an Industrial E&I Maintenance Technician to keep our chemical manufacturing operations safe and reliable. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment, interpret drawings, and document activities in SAP to support plant reliability.
The role requires a high school diploma with NCCER certifications and several years of chemical manufacturing maintenance experience. Onsite work with competitive benefits awaits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and NCCER certifications required.
- NCCER Level three Industrial Electrical and instrumentation Maintenance Technician Assessment completed.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from complex instrumentation drawings such as P&IDs and loop sheets.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain measurement devices for flow, pressure, level and temperature.
- Perform advanced electrical testing and troubleshooting with specialized equipment.
- Work with hazardous location equipment following safety standards.
- Inspect and maintain grounding systems.
- Install conduits and tubing with complex bends and layouts.
- Troubleshoot valves and actuators including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Record maintenance activities in SAP.
