Job summary

Clariant in Louisville, KY is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join the Maintenance team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and instrumentation systems critical to the Catalyst Business Unit.

The role requires reading diagrams and developing project materials while using SAP and PLC/ GE systems daily. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with post-secondary trade school, 3+ years of industrial experience, and familiarity with safety

Qualifications

Three or more years of industrial Electrical/Instrumentation experience.
High school diploma or GED with post secondary trade school education.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install plant instrumentation and controls equipment.
Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and part lists.
Develop materials list for projects and use equipment like manlifts and forklifts.
Daily use of MS Office, Outlook, SAP, PLC GE Machine Addition, and Simplicity programs.
Follow safety programs (LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, PPE) and participate in daily team meetings.
Ensure proper functioning of plant instrumentation and controls for production efficiency.
