Clariant SE is seeking an Industrial E&I Maintenance Technician to keep our chemical manufacturing operations safe and reliable. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and instrumentation equipment, interpret drawings, and document activities in SAP to support plant reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma with NCCER certifications and several years of chemical manufacturing maintenance experience. Onsite work with competitive benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and NCCER certifications required.
• NCCER Level three Industrial Electrical and instrumentation Maintenance Technician Assessment completed.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from complex instrumentation drawings such as P&IDs and loop sheets.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain measurement devices for flow, pressure, level and temperature.
• Perform advanced electrical testing and troubleshooting with specialized equipment.
• Work with hazardous location equipment following safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain grounding systems.
• Install conduits and tubing with complex bends and layouts.
• Troubleshoot valves and actuators including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Record maintenance activities in SAP.

In this role, you will help keep our production operations running safely and reliably by installing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and instrumentation equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will interpret technical drawings, maintain measurement devices, valves, and actuators, and ensure electrical systems meet safety standards. You will also document maintenance activities and collaborate with the team to support reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from complex instrumentation drawings, including P&IDs, loop sheets, and isometric diagrams
• Install calibrate, and maintain a wide range of measurement devices for flow, pressure, level and temperature
• Perform advanced electrical testing and troubleshooting using specialized equipment like data recording devices and field communicators
• Work with hazardous location equipment, ensuring proper installation and maintenance according to safety standards
• Inspect and maintain grounding systems
• Perform advanced conduit and tubing installation, including complex bends and layouts
• Trouble shoot and maintain valves and actuators, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Record all maintenance activities in SAP

Requirements

• High school diploma, NCCER certifications
• 5+ year in a chemical manufacturing environment performing equipment maintenance
• Exposure to SAP
• NCCER Level three Industrial Electrical and instrumentation Maintenance Technician Assessment
