Zusammenfassung

OxyChem is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plant instrumentation, electrical systems, and refrigeration equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrate control systems, and work closely with vendors to resolve issues while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role requires five years of relevant maintenance experience (or two years with an Associate degree), NCCER certification, and familiarity with SAP and MS

Qualifikationen

• Five years process instrumentation, electrical, or refrigeration maintenance experience.
• NCCER certification required prior to employment.
• EPA 608 Certification preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain environmental, health, and safety priorities and plant safety goals.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on plant instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose minor problems, consult vendors, and implement corrective actions.
• Set up and operate shop tools and test equipment for installations and maintenance.
• Repair power distribution systems, transformers, and DCS software components.
• Test and calibrate control systems, relays, meters, and PLCs; maintain records.
• Repair refrigeration equipment including compressors and tanks; follow proper lifting procedures.
