Job summary

The Somerset Mill in Skowhegan, Maine, is currently accepting applications for a full-time hourly Electrical and Instrumentation Journeyman. Sappi offers a Journeyman A rate of $51.06 per hour with vacation service credit for prior industrial experience up to 12 years.

The position requires 2+ years of E/I Journeyman experience, familiarity with DCS/PLC controls, AC/DC drives, and power distribution; knowledge of Honeywell TDC 3000 and Allen-Bradley PLCs is a plus.

Qualifications

• BSEET degree or a two year technical college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of E/I Journeyman experience preferred.
• Experience in electrical/instrumentation systems including installation and maintenance.
• Experience in DCS & PLC controls.
• Experience in AC & DC drives.
• Experience in power distribution systems a plus.
• Working knowledge of Honeywell TDC 3000 and Allen-Bradley PLC control systems a plus.
• Experience in a pulp & paper or industrial environment a plus.
