Qualifications

• Three years or more of experience as a Journeyman Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in an industrial environment OR two years or more Journeyman Electrical and Instrumentation experience and a two-year degree or higher in electrical or Instrumentation technology.
• Documentation showing journeyman status or two-year degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Technology obtained

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of electrical/control system components including motors, solenoids, limit switches, PLC I/O, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation, and controls; share knowledge with other technicians.
• Support maintenance program via preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Follow applicable codes, reliability strategies, and OEM standards.
• Improve productivity by planning labor, parts, and tooling access to avoid delays.
• Assist in developing and implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
