Job summary

E.R. Jahna Industries is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to support mining and dredging operations with electrical design, instrumentation, automation, and capital projects.

You will design, troubleshoot, and improve safe, reliable systems across multiple locations, coordinating with operations and leadership. The role combines PLC/SCADA expertise with field execution, project planning, and contractor oversight, emphasizing reliability, efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Automation, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent relevant experience qualifies.
• At least five (5) years of industrial electrical, instrumentation, automation, or controls experience; mining, aggregates, or dredging preferred.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across sites and teams.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
