Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric commercial and industrial door repair company, is seeking Service Technicians to join our team. We welcome applicants with door experience or entry level with no experience.

You will install, repair, and maintain various doors and hardware, ensuring safe and smooth operation. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, configuring hardware, and communicating with customers to provide cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in commercial door service is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair a variety of commercial doors with appropriate tools.
• Diagnose and repair door-related issues including springs, hinges, locks, and electrical components.
• Install and configure door hardware such as locks, closers, and access control.
• Ensure installed doors meet safety and building code regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering solutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare reports as required.
• Diagnose, identify, and resolve technical door issues and communicate cost-effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks on installations and repairs to meet company standards.
