Summary:

Meta Reality Labs is shaping the future of technology and Meta’s Industrial Design team is helping bring this next generation of hardware to life. You have experience creating high quality solutions and use strategic thinking and hands-on skills to create compelling products.

Required Skills:

Industrial Designer - Meta Reality Labs Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop category-defining products
2. Combine usability, aesthetics, and technical insight to solve complex problems
3. Navigate cross-functional teams in a complex environment
4. Conceive elegant, effective ways to address ergonomic and mechanical challenges
5. Contribute concepts and problem solving across one or more projects

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field
2. 5+ years of experience developing consumer electronics or wearable tech products
3. Demonstrated experience in communication, visualization, and problem solving skills
4. Fluid command of Rhino 3D, Solidworks, Creo or NX
5. Experience exploring and refining ideas through 2D visualization and physical prototyping
6. Experience in designing for mass production
7. Thrive in highly ambiguous situations

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience designing wearables and wearable accessories.

Public Compensation:

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
