Job summary

Sunday Robotics is hiring an Industrial Designer for Memo, our home robot. You will lead design from concept to production, collaborating with engineering and design teams to deliver manufacturable, beautiful solutions.

You will sketch, model, render, prototype, and iterate based on feedback while refining CMF and production-ready details. This contract role runs from September to December in Redwood City, CA.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial design fundamentals with hands-on skills.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and 3D visualization.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and production design.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive industrial design projects from concept to production.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers on robust, manufacturable solutions.
• Sketch, CAD, render, and prototype to communicate ideas.
• Lead design reviews, iterating on feedback to refine intent.
• Build and evaluate physical prototypes using 3D printing and other methods.
• Develop CMF strategies and material choices.
• Work with vendors and manufacturing partners to finalize designs.
• Identify opportunities to shape Memo's product experience.
