Job summary

Weave Robotics in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to shape the form and experience of our home robots, from sketch to production. You’ll collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing engineers to ensure elegant, manufacturable products built for real-world use.

You’ll own CMF development, prototype rapidly, and design for production at scale, balancing aesthetics with reliability and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial design for consumer electronics or robotics.
• Portfolio showing form development and production-ready output.
• Experience with CMF and materials specification.
• Ability to translate concept to production geometry.
• Experience with DFM considerations.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ambition to shape home robotics.

Responsibilities

• Own industrial design from concept through production.
• Drive form and surface development into production-ready geometry.
• Define materials, colors, textures, and finishes (CMF).
• Prototype rapidly with sketches, CAD, and physical models.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to scale production.
• Work with UI/Interaction teams for integrated experiences.
