Job summary

UCT in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Data Scientist to join our manufacturing analytics team. You will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and IT to deliver advanced analytics, generative AI, and ML solutions that improve efficiency and performance.

You'll apply statistical modeling and classifier methods using Databricks and Copilot Studio to enable AI-assisted insights and automation across operations, with a focus on supply chain optimization and predictable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, CS, statistics, engineering, or mathematics.
• 3–5 years of experience in data science/advanced analytics, preferably in high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with ML/AI tooling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and deploy ML and statistical models for manufacturing and supply chain use cases.
• Design and implement classifier models to identify patterns in product, customer, and supplier taxonomies.
• ML/Ops lifecycle management: monitor performance and scale models in production.
• Leverage AI to augment IT operations and automate workflows using Copilot Studio.
