Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a skilled AI/ML professional to develop and deploy machine learning for manufacturing, quality, and process optimization. You will build predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and digital twin initiatives to improve yields and efficiency.

Collaborating across Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and IT, you will implement AI-enabled solutions and dashboards, driving measurable business impact in a modern industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Experience with Python and ML model lifecycle.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
• Experience with SQL databases and large datasets.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and automation.
• Experience deploying AI in production manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, validate, and deploy ML models for manufacturing.
• Build predictive analytics to improve product quality, throughput, and reliability.
• Design AI-based systems for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.
• Create dashboards and decision-support tools from manufacturing data.
• Collaborate with SMEs to prioritize AI use cases across functions.
• Support Industry 4.0 initiatives with MES/ERP/PLM integration.
