Pumps and Controls, a wholesale water treatment equipment supplier based in Arlington, Texas, is seeking a skilled customer service/order entry specialist to join the team.

You will manage daily orders via phone, email, online orders, and fax, coordinate with vendors, assist customers in product selection, and support delivery schedules. Join a team that values fast lead times and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of order entry and data management systems (Epicor Prophet 21 experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with small package shipping processes (UPS/FedEx) and basic LTL freight procedures.
• Strong phone communication skills and professional email writing abilities.
• Ability and willingness to learn about industrial products, applications, and supporting components.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily order entry from phone calls, emails, online orders, and faxed purchase orders.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding purchase orders, shipping and delivery schedules, special-order items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Assist customers with product selection based on application requirements and customer needs.
• Support day-to-day customer service activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Provide professional and responsive communication to customers through phone and email correspondence.
• Work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to support overall customer satisfaction.
