Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking an ambitious student to join our R&D team as an Industrial CSPI Technical Intern for summer 2027 in Bedford Park, IL. You will provide technical support to existing customers and develop new product solutions for industrial market applications.

You will gain hands-on experience by performing laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and presenting findings to management. Collaboration with internal resources and opportunities for professional development are

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paper Science or related field with GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Experience in wet chemistry laboratory settings is desirable
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature and patent searches and summarize findings in reports
• Perform laboratory experiments and analyze data to support projects
• Coordinate and report data from experiments to project teams
• Record data in ELN and archive databases; communicate results clearly
• Present findings to management with recommendations for future development
