Job summary

Coffman Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Engineer/Crane Engineer to support and lead crane projects for aerospace, military, energy, private, and manufacturing sectors. The role is aligned with a hybrid work schedule, with travel as needed.

Salary ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 and strong teamwork is emphasized. The candidate will join a collaborative and high-performing team, contributing to innovative engineering solutions while delivering clients value and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
• SolidWorks proficiency preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of crane or heavy machinery engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
• Availability to travel occasionally to site visits and client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design tasks for crane refurbishment and replacement projects.
• Technical lead and calculation development responsibilities.
• Team coordination and multidisciplinary management.
• Site visits, construction support, load testing.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
