Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Controls Technician to provide PLC support in production environments. You will diagnose equipment issues, implement process improvements, and assist with automation devices and vision systems on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and basic PLC, robotics (Nachi/Fanuc), electrical, and electro-pneumatic knowledge. Strong teamwork and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• PLC programming basic knowledge.
• Robotics basic knowledge (Nachi and Fanuc).
• Electrical control basic knowledge.
• Electrical motors principles knowledge.
• Electropneumatic systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for PLC topics in production.
• Troubleshoot downtime issues in production lines.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions including repairs and adjustments.
• Develop process and cycle time improvements to increase performance.
• Support implementation of automation devices and vision systems in manufacturing cells.
• Support robotics issues: implementations and troubleshooting.
• Provide electrical installation and PLC programming support for projects.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineering groups for optimal process control solutions.
• Promote Bosch production system and participate in continuous improvement projects.
