Job summary

Sazerac is looking for a Controls Technician to keep high-speed beverage manufacturing and packaging lines running safely and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot electrical controls, PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs across bottling, canning, and assembly operations.

You will collaborate with Maintenance and Production to resolve issues quickly, improve reliability, and minimize downtime, reading schematics/blueprints and supporting CAD documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years troubleshooting electrical controls in manufacturing.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens control platforms, and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and program PLC systems and HMIs across production lines.
• Support Fanuc robotics and automated packaging equipment troubleshooting.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and drawings; assist with CAD documentation.
• Lead root-cause analysis and preventative actions to reduce downtime.
