Job summary

Lego Discovery Center is seeking an experienced Industrial Controls Technician to maintain and improve the complex control systems behind our attractions and entertainment systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, fault-finding, and optimization of PLC-based equipment across diverse control platforms.

You will work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, HMIs, networks, drives, sensors, and safety systems to ensure reliable, safe operations for our attractions.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-based control systems.
• Read electrical diagrams and schematics for fault isolation.
• Work with major PLC platforms: Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff.
• Troubleshoot networks such as Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus, CIP.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-based industrial control systems.
• Identify and resolve complex electrical and automation faults using PLC logic, HMIs, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, and similar industrial control platforms.
• Troubleshoot industrial communication networks including Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Profibus, Modbus, and CIP.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, system upgrades, and reliability improvements.
• Complete root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and improve equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical control systems, sensors, actuators, drives, and safety circuits.
