Job summary

EnerStaff LLC in Houston, TX seeks an Industrial Controls Panel Builder / Electrical Installer. Temp-to-hire, 7am-4pm M-F, pay $25-$32/hour DOE, start ASAP. Primarily shop fabrication with potential field support.

You will assemble, wire, install, and startup industrial control systems including PLC panels and MCCs, ensuring safety and compliance with specs. Responsibilities include panel assembly, wiring, labeling, FAT assistance, and field installation as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–5+ years of experience in industrial electrical controls and panel building.
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
Experience with tools used for panel building and electrical installation.

Responsibilities

Assemble panels, junction boxes, MCC sections per schematics and layout drawings.
Perform point-to-point wiring of PLC I/O, relays, VFDs, breakers and instrumentation.
Fabricate and install DIN rails, wire duct, bus bars and mounting hardware.
Label and tag devices, wires, and components per project standards.
Perform quality checks on wiring, torque, and workmanship.
Assist with panel FAT and documentation.
Install control panels and MCCs at industrial facilities.
Run conduit, cable tray, and supports; pull and route power cables.
Terminate cables for power, control, and instrumentation systems.
Install transmitters, sensors, motors, and control valves.
Grounding per standards; support loop checks and system checkout.
Able to operate forklift.
