Job summary

Hoffman & Hoffman Inc is seeking a Project Manager to oversee PLC/SCADA and BMS system installations. This role focuses on organizing project elements, coordinating with engineering teams, and managing subcontractor execution across multi-region client sites.

Ideal candidates will drive on-site scheduling, material orders, and timely turnover documentation while maintaining safety and quality standards. Occasional travel up to 75% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Organizes construction projects by accepting new projects from Administration; collects and completes all needed documentation; analyzes timelines; coordinates with Engineering and Programming teams for scheduling.
• Manages electrical subcontractors by reviewing bid information; coordinating with Sales; maintaining subcontract documentation; ensuring proper execution of subcontract requirements.
• Directs electrical subcontractors by reviewing project information, subcontract details, and schedules; answers questions; enforces proper installation methods; verifies documentation completion.
• Orders project materials by coordinating with Part Distribution, panel builders, and site logistics; communicates storage needs to customers.
• Collaborates with Administration for billing creation and coordinates with customers for billing requirements.
• Communicates project status to Engineering/Programming, Technicians and Ops Management; conducts jobsite visits and meetings; updates deadlines; processes change orders and related pricing.
• Supports startup activities by assisting technicians, coordinating with engineers and programmers for modifications; ensuring turnover documentation; preparing close-out materials; providing owner training.
• Aims to achieve financial objectives by reviewing monthly labor cost reports and taking corrective actions; maintains industry knowledge; mentors less senior project managers; enforces safety and quality standards.
• Travel readiness up to 75% to serve customers across multiple regions; supports high-profile client needs with urgency.
