Express Employment Professionals - Aberdeen, WA is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to support projects, design components, and lead testing under supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer.

The role includes CAD layouts, ladder logic development, BOMs/ECNs, field testing, and travel with a collaborative team. A technical Associates degree and 5+ years of electro-mechanical design experience are required, along with strong communication and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field is required.
• Minimum five years of experience designing electro-mechanical equipment for manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing panels and handling equipment in industrial settings.
• Proficiency with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motion and control components.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise CAD design layouts for panels and wiring.
• Develop ladder logic and control system programming.
• Perform electrical calculations for design sizing.
• Evaluate designs in R&D and field settings.
• Coordinate drawings, BOMs, and ECNs.
• Travel for installation and commissioning.
• Support operations, maintenance, and field troubleshooting.
• Provide technical data to sales and service teams.
