Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Corinth, Mississippi, is seeking an Industrial Controls Electrician for the Day Shift to inspect, repair, and fine-tune high-speed manufacturing equipment. You will work within the Maintenance Department on electrical controls, wiring, and process instrumentation, including PLCs and VFDs, while creating electrical schematics and upgrading controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; degree preferred.
• 2-year associate’s degree in electrical technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and PAT.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs and light mechanical work safely and in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and program electrical equipment and controls hardware.
• Support Shift Technicians with electrical expertise.
• Utilize computer systems to support the role (SAP).
• Maintain a clean work area to prevent contamination of product.
• Accurately complete required work documentation.
• Understand the concepts and participate in the techniques of the quality process.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles for electrical repairs.
• Have a working knowledge of the NEC code and NFPA 70E, its interpretation and implementation.
• Provide feedback to the maintenance team to help modify existing equipment and improve the design of future equipment.
• Optimize preventive maintenance documents to improve the quality of inspections.
