Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced industrial electrician in New Jersey to support electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes safe operations, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with the controls team to ensure reliable plant performance. Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical work, familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, NEC/UL standards, schematics reading, and the ability to read and interpret

Qualifications

• High school equivalent required and at least 5 years as an industrial electrician.
• Experience with consumer goods manufacturing and FDA/GMP awareness preferred.
• Proven ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and follow all policies and procedures.
• Install, monitor, test, repair and replace electrical circuits, motors and transformers.
• Operate, repair and maintain high voltage switchgear and motor control centers.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and instrumentation where applicable.
• Read blueprints and interpret wiring diagrams; install wiring and conduit.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on plant equipment.
• Comply with GMP, SOP and JSA requirements; wear appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with controls engineers and communicate results clearly.
