Job summary

PLZ Corp in Missouri is seeking a PLC Controls Technician to maintain and troubleshoot complex automated systems in our manufacturing facility. You will wire 480V 3-phase power, troubleshoot PLCs, servos, robotics, and read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of industrial experience, electronics technology education, and familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs. We offer opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

5-7 years industrial/manufacturing experience desired.
Electronics Technology education preferred; trade school or apprenticeship acceptable.
Demonstrated knowledge of programming and electrical/controls; PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred).
Familiarity with servos and robotics; ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.
Must read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; fully computer literate.

Responsibilities

Wire 480V 3-phase power systems (required).
Troubleshoot controls, relays logic, and fix mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot electrical systems including diagrams, flow meters, starters, relays, VFDs.
Repair mechanical systems (chains, bearings, motors, pumps, valves).
Conduct preventative maintenance and read manuals/schematics.
Work with PLCs, SERVO, hydraulics/pneumatics; read and interpret drawings.
