Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Hands-on use of common hand tools and strong manual dexterity.
  • Able to lift 50–75 pounds.
  • Attention to detail and reading comprehension.
  • Prefer PLC instrumentation setup experience.
  • 2 years in production environment or technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire industrial control panels from drawings and schematics.
  • Review prints, confirm components, and organize the build.
  • Oversee shop workload and scheduling to meet commitments.
  • Verify pulled components against BOM and report nonconforming parts.
  • Perform functional testing and document results.
  • Capture quality data with QC records and test forms.
  • Maintain personal tool inventory and keep workspace clean and safe.

Job description

What you'll do — a day in the shopYou’ll turn interrelated wiring schematics, assembly drawings, and detailed Bills of Materials into fully wired, tested control panels. Your day starts by reviewing prints, confirming components, and organizing the build.
