Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure in Wendell, NC, is seeking a Technician Trainer to onboard and train technicians, establish assembly guidelines, and support ICP build processes on the shop floor. Reporting to Production Manager, you will guide technicians in interpretation of drawings and safety requirements.

You will develop training materials, support cross-training, and reinforce 5S/6S practices to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Experience building Industrial Control Panels (ICPs).
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, BOMs, and drawings.
Experience training and coaching technicians in manufacturing.
Strong communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

Lead onboarding and hands-on training for new technicians, including entry-level hires.
Teach technicians to assemble ICPs and related equipment using established standards.
Train on mechanical assembly, wiring, routing, crimping, torque, and tool use.
Instruct on reading schematics and assembly drawings during production.
Provide end-of-line testing processes and quality verification.
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and materials to improve training.
